US Karagöz Theatre Company was founded by Ayhan Hulagu as the first traditional Turkish theatre in the United States, in 2017. The company’s primary goal is to showcase traditional Anatolian theatre on the international scale, devoting special attention to Karagöz and meddah (the Anatolian art of storytelling) traditions on the list of Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage. Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by singer and musicologist Louis Botto, 公鸡 quickly took its place as one of the most prolific recording and touring ensembles in the world, selling over one million recordings and performing thousands of live concerts to audiences around the world. 公鸡’s repertoire is rooted in the renaissance and has continued to expand to include a wide range of classical, 福音, 爵士乐和流行音乐, and a deep commitment to the commissioning of new compositions and arrangements.

Tickets are required for 艺术家系列 and main stage season performances. 价格分类如下:

Non-SU学生 率: persons who are age 18 or younger or who have valid student identification.

A group of 15 or more is entitled to a 10% discount on tickets for the same event (when tickets are purchased together).
Patrons who purchase a ticket for two 艺术家系列 events will receive a ticket for the third 艺术家系列 event with our compliments.
